Voice Program
consists of:

Music Exploration for ages 5-9​
Private Voice for ages 11-18
Private Music Theory for ages 14 - Adult

All music classes are instructed by Grace Robertson. ​​

MUSIC EXPLORATION
Music Exploration uses musical play to introduce creative kids to the fundamentals of music. The goal is for students  to widen their musical experience, have an understanding of how/why music is made, and to feel encouraged to find ways to express themselves through music.  Students will learn about:
-Rhythm, pitch, and harmony
-Different styles/genres of music

-Instrument families/How instruments make sound including voice.
-Music as an expressive medium

​For ages 5 - 9 years old

Meets once per week for 1 hour  (12 class sessions)
Tuition: $300 per semester, may be divided into 4 payments of $78 ($3.00 service fee per payment.)

PRIVATE VOICE

Private Voice lessons are offered to further develop technique and personal style. They develop confidence and basic music understanding. Students will learn breathing, support and sound projection as well as learn to read music and be exposed to different musical style. They will also learn to incorporate acting techniques for characterization and storytelling within a song.  It is an excellent audition prep class for shows and/or college vocal or musical theatre entrances.  Many of our students perform principle roles in high school and community musical theatre productions as well as majored in vocal performance in colleges such as University of Louisville, Stephens College and Marian College. Voice lessons are great for actors, choir students, theatrical performers and shower enthusiast.

For Middle - Senior High Schoolers: 11 years old - Adult 
Meets once per week for 45 minutes (12 class sessions)
Tuition: $420 per semester, may be divided into 3 payments of $143 ($3.00 service fee per payment.)

MUSIC THEORY
Music Theory is perfect for high school musicians prepping for college auditions and wish to major in music. Lessons are personalized to each student's proficiency level and may cover everything from basic music reading to twelve-tone rows. High School credit is available to student's whose school participates.
